Always use a unique password for different social media sites. It’s a common tip, but we’re not kidding when we give you this tip, since hackers can easily reuse the same username and password combinations on different sites.
Avoid using birthdays, names, or personal information on your passwords. These are easily found online and they’ll likely be the first guesses that a hacker would attempt in the situation that they would want to hack you.
Aim to have 12 characters long with letters, numbers and special characters. Some others use 14-20 characters for more security in their passwords.
